A unique double bill of North Indian vocal music. Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar is one of India's finest singers representing the Gwalior tradition. He is accompanied by Pandit Suresh Talwalkar on tabla. Singer Purnima Chaudhuri is one of the finest exponents of the traditional romantic style known as thumri. Both artists communicate their traditions with great virtuosity, creativity and sense of aesthetics.
