Southbank Centre's Learning and Participation team at have been making moves into exciting territory this year. We celebrate
Big Dance 2008 by bringing together some of the UK's most innovative participatory dance projects under one banner: IN
MOTION. IN MOTION showcases dynamic new performance works spanning generations of dancers, and provides numerous opportunities
for dance enthusiasts of all ages and abilities to sample free and accessible activities across Southbank Centre. Come and
try ballet or Kathak dancing in The Clore Ballroom, engage in discussions with professionals and participants about choreography
and architecture in Spirit Level, or simply pull up a chair at The Big Chair Dance.
