Tuesday 1 July 2008 - Sunday 28 September 2008

The work of Danish artist Jeppe Hein (born 1974) often combines sculpture with architecture and technology to playfully solicit the viewer's direct participation. Hein's aquatic sculpture Appearing Rooms was originally commissioned for the garden of the Villa Manin, Italy. Find out more about this installation Dream It, Build It
Monday 21 July - Tuesday 2 September
This large scale, hands-on interactive takes place in between events and performances, and invites visitors to use their imagination to create their own built environment. Inspired by the architecture of the site, as well as The Hayward's Psycho Buildings exhibition, the installation features large foam blocks cut from scale models of Southbank Centre buildings. Dream It, Build It has been created by architects Amenity Space, as part of a collaboration between Southbank Centre and the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment.
